Description
Down-to-earth single mum and restaurant owner Pearl (Kerry Goldman, After Life) is now an established PI in her English coastal town of Whitstable. Her cases often overlap with the police investigations conducted by gruff DCI Mike McGuire (Howard Charles, Shadow and Bone), but their relationship is charged by a determination to outdo each other. Six months after the breakdown of their fledgling romance, they have each found her partners: funny and nice Tom (Robert Webb, Peep Show) for Pearl, and outgoing and optimistic Kat (Emily Head, The Syndicate) for Mike. But their simmering mutual attraction remains. When they compete, sparks fly and tempers flare. When they work together, they make a hell of a team.--,Back of container
